Micro TDH concert — Nueve World Tour: capturing the energy of the night.

A concert never happens twice. That's the whole challenge and all the magic: there's a single chance to capture the energy of the night. I've covered concerts and events where the goal was clear — that watching it back should make you feel it all over again.

An event has no second take

On a brand shoot you can do another take; at a live event, you can't. That's why I film events with a different mindset: anticipating the moments, covering with several cameras and never missing what only happens once.

The aftermovie people share

The standout format for an event is the aftermovie: a short piece, with rhythm and music, that distills the energy of the night and that people want to share. Done well, it's the best advertising for the next edition.

Tough light, cameras that respond

Concerts are a lighting nightmare: darkness, shifting spotlights, backlighting. This is where my Sony gear shines, because it performs in conditions where other cameras give up. That lets me capture the real atmosphere without wrecking the image.

Rhythm, sound and fast delivery

An event edit moves to the pulse of the music, and with live events fast delivery matters: an aftermovie travels much further if it goes out while the event is still fresh. I work to deliver on time.

The low light of a concert demands good gear. Here I explain my Sony recording workflow.

Frequently asked questions

Do you film with several cameras?

Yes, I cover events with a multi-camera approach so I don't miss the key moments and have more options in the edit.

Do you make aftermovies?

Yes, it's one of the formats I work with most: short pieces with rhythm and music designed to be shared.

How quickly do you deliver?

I prioritise fast delivery, especially for aftermovies, to make the most of the event's moment. We agree the timeline when quoting.

Do you cover events outside the city?

I live in Granada and work a lot in Madrid; I travel anywhere in Spain depending on the event. Tell me where and when it is.

Are you organising a concert or event?

Tell me about it and we'll capture the energy of that night.
